With 8 artifact reanimation spells, you probably can’t burn out your opponent, so how does it win? The answer is to use Conjurer’s Bauble to put the reanimation spells on the bottom of the library (which you can then shuffle with fetchlands and Reshape). The deck has one copy of Pyrite Spellbomb to deal 1 damage to the opponent. So how do we win? This is where things get really silly. So, now we can generate a lot of mana and draw our deck. Suspend cards have a CMC of 0, so you can cast with X=0 to play a Lotus Bloom from your deck immediately. So how do you get the Lotus Bloom out in time? The answer: Reshape. If you can get two of them in the graveyard, you can start generating mana. Meanwhile, Lotus Bloom can generate extra mana. Let’s look at the engine cards.Īll of the artifact cantrips are mana-neutral or free to sacrifice, so any time you cast Second Sunrise or Faith’s Reward, you get to dig deeper into the deck for free. So how does the deck keep going? This is the clever bit. However, from the cards above, you can likely see a problem. In addition to drawing cards, Chromatic Star and Chromatic Sphere can be sacrificed to fix mana. There are multiple copies of each of these effects… So how does it work? Let’s start by looking at a few of the deck’s many cantrips.
